The place was small, but it seats were placed well apart for social distancing. The beverages and pastries are very much affordable - one of the reasons I frequent the place when I can. It's the perfect place for late afternoon to evening hangouts.
Ambiance is nice, great view of Calumpang Bridge and River. Food is great although the Bulgogi may use a little additional serving. The place is discreet and the road going there is not that good; a closed road and a lot of metal plates sum up the way going there. Not very advisable to go when it's rainy as it gets muddy and the rooftop is not covered. But the place is very nice when the weather is good.
If you're looking for a strong coffee, this is definitely the place. Loved hanging out here with my friends for review or whenever we just wanted to chill after a long day of duty in the hospital The "sea-side" view is also a must see!
It’s been 7 years since visiting my family back in the Philippines, we live very close to Kalye Barako and after trying it the 3rd night after arriving from the Uk on holiday we continued to go back every other day for their amazing coffees. The food is amazing too. A must visit. Well worth the experience.
The ambience was cozy and almost retro-indie . Great place to hangout, as they have a rooftop seating and downstairs open seating . The staff are great and friendly. Highly recommended for a pit stop and have a cuppa by Calumpang River .

Fun place to hang out by the river. Wide variety of drinks and snacks/light meals. Found the prices reasonable for the drink size (under PHP 200 for the 22 oz). Lots of seating options - outdoor, airconditioned second floor, open air roof deck (third floor) with a view of the river and the mountains in the distance. Access is through the one lane service road by the side of the bridge.
One of the best local coffee shops in batangas with in-house blend by thier internationally renownd Barista/CEO. Kalye Barako offers an assortment of Hot and Cold Drinks which gives you alot of options. Definitely a must try and must comeback place here in Batangas!
